A 1990 graduate of Bellaire High School.
A 1995 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education.
Currently teaching physical education for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade at Key Ridge and First Ward in the Bellaire City School District.
Has been the cross country Coach for both High School and Junior High School boys and girls since 1996.
Has been coaching Junior High track at Bellaire since 1996.
Has been the High School distance Coach since 1998.
The Coach of the first ever High School Girls' team in school history to qualify to the Regional Championship. Coached the 2000 Boys' team to the Regional Championship.
Has had the opportunity to coach 7 individuals in the Regional Championship: Amber Vavrek - 3 years, Casey Tucker - 1 year, Ashley Davolio - 1 year, Matt Wise - 1 year , Jed Perko - 1 year, Leigh Ann Workman - 1 year, and Aimee Vavrek - 1 year.
Has had 3 runners graduate and run in college: Keith Workman - 1 year at Washington and Jefferson College, Amber Vavrek who is currently running for Ohio Northern University, and Ashley Davolio who is currently running for Wheeling Jesuit.
